How to Revive Damaged Hair

How-To-Revive-Damaged-Hair-Loreal-Revive-Vanessa-Lambert-What-Would-V-Wear

Do you ever feel like your hair has seen better days?! I certainly do and on those days I simply want to restore shine and texture back to my mane. With the cold temperatures in full effect, my hair can dry out and lose its shine. And if you’re someone who spends most of their day at their office desk, like me since I work from home, it’s not always easy to get the right amount of sunshine.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of L’Oréal® Paris Elvive. The opinions and text are all mine.

To find out how damaged my hair was I decided to take the L’Oréal® diagnostic test. It gives you insightful information + recommends for the best Elvive products to use for your hair type.

For me, every time I start to notice a lack of moisture, dullness or even weak strands in my hair I know it’s not the end of the world, thanks to the diagnostic test! It gave me the opportunity to learn how to repair damaged hair and take control back. To help get your good hair days back, be sure to take the test yourself and be sure to continue reading below.

As you may know I’m not a natural blonde. I dye my hair (roots) every 5 weeks and this certainly has an effect on my hair. To maintain a healthy mane I’ve been using L’Oréal Elvive. Prices are unbeatable too – starting at $5.99! Just after one use my hair already feels stronger and healthier. You simply apply it to your wet hair and massage it through to your ends. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes, then rinse and you’re done. It literally is the perfect fix for my over processed hair. Have you tried it?!

I also use L’Oréal Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Leave-In Conditioner. Our hair is made out of protein and daily brushing, heat tools and dyeing my hair on a monthly basis can seriously cause dryness and damage to any hair. I’ve always been very picky about my hair so, it comes naturally to me to want to nourish and protect it. This leave in conditioner is formulated to help increase strength, flexibility, and to protect against every day damage. Plus it leaves my hair super soft after each use which I love. To add extra shine and silkiness to my hair I use a few drops  of L’Oréal Elvive’s Extraordinary Oil treatment. This multi-use miracle oil is infused with luxurious Camellia & Golden Sunflower oils to provide weightless shine and nourishment. It transform my hair into a silky, and luminous mane.

Your hair looks gorgeous, but every 5 weeks??? I would love to go blonde but don’t think I’d be able to handle the upkeep.

You have fabulous hair! I can see that this product works very well for you. I love L’Oreal products, as well. I take a chemotherapeutic drug and that damages and thins my hair. Maybe I’ll try this. It sounds like an excellent recommendation!

I used to use the Elvive line religiously but lately it started to really irritate so I’ve had to stop.
