Ice Castles

Last weekend my family and I had the opportunity to visit the Ice Castles in Lake Geneva, WI. We received VIP passes which means we were able to go before it opens to the public. My husband and I took this opportunity to take incredible pictures, as well as have our boys play and run around. Throughout Ice Castles are a series of tunnels + an amazing slide for all ages to enjoy!

Visiting the Ice Castles in Lake Geneva truly was an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairy tales to life. “The experience is built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.” One of our favorite features were the Grand Archways. Walking underneath was magical—we saw some of the most beautiful icicles! Fun facet: We took these pictures at these breathtaking archways!

When you buy a ticket, you buy an arrival time. They ask that you arrive within your 30 minute time window. Once you are inside the castle you can stay as long as you’d like! However, please note that the Ice Castles are only available until March 10. For more information go here.

You’re beautiful! You should defiently visit a salt mine, or other mines of course! I visited a mine in Poland last year, it was right outside Krakow.
