Let’s go boating

Whenever I want to escape the hustle and bustle of being a working mom I tend to seek shelter by the water. Going boating with my family has almost become a must on the weekends. My boys love to fish while I like to catch up on reading, watch the world go by or fish myself even.

To relieve some stress I recommend to go boating (unless you get sea sick). It’s that easy. Whether close to home or on vacation, being on, in or near the water is good for you. There certainly is a connection between water and happiness. Boating allows me to forget all of my worries and stress, and to just live in the moment which you sometimes forget when you’re an influencer. It seems we have to document our every day life but being on the boat allows me to simply sit back and fully appreciate the time I spend with my family, making memories that will last a lifetime.

It seems while out on the water, my brain can take a break which results in pure relaxation for my body and mind. So, whether you’re fishing, swimming, tubing or just cruising along taking in the scenery, I guarantee you that you and your friends/family will have fun together. Out on the water there are no distractions. You can focus on each other. You can have conversations. Share your stories and make new ones.  And laugh? I cannot recall a boating experience without laughter. This being said: Go boating! Reconnect and create memories that will last a lifetime. Life really is better on a boat.

I love going boating but sadly I don’t own a boat. When we would go up north during the summer we would rent one for the day.

Beautiful photos and I love your outfit!
I love being by the water and boating is such a relaxing, family activity. My parents used to have a canal boat when I was younger and I loved spending time on it!

Boating really is a great way to relax. I don’t have the chance to do it often, but when I do, I always love it.
