Festival Season, i.e. Lollapalooza kicked off last weekend in Chicago. This season is bursting at the seams with a diverse collection of musical performances ranging from rock to dance music. If you have been following along you’ll probably already know that I went shopping at Chicago Premium Outlets for this very occasion only…
SHOP MY LOOK
I knew I wanted a bohemian look hence I decided to buy an angel-sleeve tunic dress from BCBGMaxazria, and platform sandals from Michael Kors. Festival season in itself has become a major trend — thanks, to its bohemian aesthetic. Lightweight, loose-fit garments are a must, and I’m so glad that I found this dress at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora (be sure to check out my editorial at Simon Said’s website HERE). Not only is it lightweight but the sleeves are giving the whole look an extra “gypsy soul” spirit, wouldn’t you agree?
Lollapalooza is so fun, and I’m beyond happy that I got to attend this year even if it was just for one day! Seeing Jane’s Addiction live was probably my favorite. I wanted to shoot inside the festival, too but we were not allowed to bring in our professional camera which was actually a good thing — now that I think about it. It’s super crowded at the festival, and my husband and I did a ton of dancing together. So, we were actually happy not having to schlepp our equipment around. You know, sometimes it’s best to simply live in the moment. We just danced all night long without a care in the world…

Beautiful!! Our oldest son and his friends all went to Lolla all 4 days. We stayed in Chicago this weekend right down at the Loews in case they needed us and wished now we’d gotten a ticket for ourselves.
