How do you escape technology? Answer: Have a picnic at your favorite park or by the beach, and leave your cell phones at home! It’s a welcoming change to spend your day outdoors, I can promise you that.

Where do you like to spend your summer’s at, and do you take breaks from technology at all? Do tell by commenting below!

As always, thank you for reading & much love!

I love this post! It looks like the perfect way to unwind! I’ve been wanting to pack up my basket and head to the lake for a picnic. I really try to detach from social media on the weekends. I post so much during the week that it can be nice to take a break and really just enjoy my weekends spent with family and friends, rather than worrying about the perfect angel or the right filter!

Here in SF, every Sunday at the Presidio park there’s one giant picnic with many food trucks and lots and lots of people. It’s the best way to spend a Sunday in the summer, and do a little digital detox!
The colors of your dress are almost as pretty as you Vanessa!

totally agree vanessa, it’s so important to escape technology and maybe it’s a little bit funny and childish but tomorrow the new Harry Potter book will arrive here , and if the weather is quite good (i hope it doesn’t rain, that would mean it’s good) I’ll sit outside, read a little bit and relax after work *_* your picks are so perfect and your dress is so chic and feminine, just the perfect piece to look fabulous <3
I just can say it again and again, you're so beautiful, inside and out AND your photos are getting even more beautiful everytime 🙂 love you hun <3

First off, you look absolutely gorgeous in this dress! The colors are so beautiful and vibrant and truly pop beautifully against your skin! My favorite way to disconnect form everything is spending the day or a few hours at a park, surrounded by all of nature’s beauty. It just relaxes and inspires me and for the moment, you don’t feel all the pressures and demands of life; such a great feeling! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having the best week so far!

I love picnics, dear Vanessa, I am always “in” when I am invited or provide one myself! So I loved to see yours here! You look so lovely! Always beautiful and sophisticated! Such a beautiful print and sandals! I do the following: at around 6 pm, when I can, I switch the laptop off. And on Sundays I only use it for 10 minutes 🙂 Hope you have a lovely day, dear friend! Hugs and kisses!

You look stunning! I love summer picnics! That dress is so beautiful, and what a beautiful spot you’ve found! I unwind by going to the gym or relaxing at the beach, but I’m guilty of being pretty attached to my phone. It’s so hard to unplug, but when I’m with friends, I make a point of rarely reaching for my phone. You can’t beat quality face to face time. 🙂
