Midi skirts are not only fun but they are extremely feminine too. However, it’s important to balance your look especially when you’re petite like me. I’m not the tallest person in the world hence I swear on wearing platform sandals. Also, it’s important to find the right silhouette that works with your body type.

I’ve paired my Closet London skirt with a bodysuit (which looks like a black tank top). I wanted something simple since the midi skirt in itself it very powerful. I also added one of my favorite statement necklaces from Olive and Piper, and my look is done!

    Love your skirt! You look so pretty! My torso is short and my shoulders are broad, so a slim fitting tank top like the one you have, or a really cute body suit with a small keyhole cutout in the front can be really fun.

    I loved the collaboration, dear V.! You are always gorgeous and this skirt is really beautiful! I loved the sandals and I have to confess that I thought you were tall! Your pictures look like that! I love midi skirts, although I am short, but I feel better wearing them. In my case, it’s because I used to be sportive before and had sports that built legs and arms muscles… in a way that I started hiding them 🙁 But I truly like this length!     That skirt is gorgeous, Vanessa! I fell in love the moment I saw it on Instagram! The print and colors are so pretty and perfect for summer, you’ve styled it perfectly with the basic bodysuit and that cute chain statement necklace! I style my midi skirt in a variety of ways, depending on the mood I’m in. Sometimes, I’ll go for a basic solid tank or a printed blouse, especially if the skirt has some print and I want to do print mix! I like to keep a tighter top/tank or bodysuit on top as the way my upper body is built I need to be careful to show the shape there or I start to look like a box. #longlegshorttorsoproblems haha!
