Maxi dresses are most definitely your year-round staple this season! Not only are they super versatile but also super easy to dress! I simply added a belt around my waist and kept accessories to a minimum. Sometimes less is simply more.

Speaking of simplicity…Not too long ago I read a quote by Satyarthi. It said that “childhood means simplicity. Look at the world with the child’s eye – it is very beautiful”. I love this quote, and I couldn’t agree more with Satyarthi. I’ve been so busy these past weeks that I almost forgot to enjoy each and every moment with my family. We’re so distracted these days that we forget to look at the beauty all around us — but my son, Kingston is a great reminder. He has those innocent eyes that sees beauty everywhere.

    You look so beautiful in this dress, which you’ve styled perfectly, Vanessa! I love that you’ve added the black waist belt and kept the accessories at minimum, it creates a nice light and airy feel to the overall look. I also love that shade of brown in the dress on you, it looks so beautiful against your skin tone! I couldn’t agree more with that quote. Life is SO busy and there’s always something that needs to planned and done, so it’s so easy to become distracted and overwhelmed, taking our attention away from the present and the beauty of right now. Children don’t have a care in the world, they know that somehow, everything will always be alright. Can we imagine how our lives would be if we had that mentality?! A lot more peaceful!     OMG this dresssss! Honestly before I even clicked on the blogpost I clicked on the dress icon. I can’t believe this is from SheInside. I thought you bought this from Nordstrom, Asos, or even a designer. I have heard of SheIn over the years because of different YouTube hauls. However, i have yet to buy anything from them until now. I have to have this dress because not only is it gorg, it’s also affordable! You look amazing V!
