The moment I walked into the Wyndham Irvine hotel in Orange County, I knew I would never want to leave. Just minutes away from a some of the West Coast’s most well-known beaches, as well as a variety of arts, culture, and entertainment choices, the Wyndham Irvine-Orange County Airport hotel is the perfect place for a relaxed stay in the OC.
Truthfully, I could write about the amazing beaches Orange County has to offer but my true excitement for my visit at the Wyndham lied in the interior and service. My family and I stayed at their Studio Suite King which features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views, living room-style seating with sofa sleeper, chaise, flat panel TV with premium movie options and a large work desk. It’s exactly how I pictured my cozy room to be and I couldn’t stop taking pictures in every corner I came across. It’s a mix between modern and cozy which I fell in love with and even though there is a quite minimal feel to it all, there are so many textured elements that make it feel welcoming and peaceful.

Waking up here felt so calming for my mind and soul. With the mesmerizing views of Irvine I felt like weight was lifted off my shoulders—the OC is the complete opposite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles. I highly recommend booking a weekend getaway here, it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at and I love how I didn’t have to travel across the world for it! Chicago is only a 4 hour flight away!
It’s incredible how refreshing it can be to get out of the city for the weekend. My family and I love California and the OC will always be one of our favorite travel destinations within the US. Being by the ocean with so much space to breath, allows me to completely reset and this past weekend did exactly that.
