Paris_Notre Dame_What Would V Wear

“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.”

Notre Dame_Paris_What Would V Wear

Ernest Hemingway is right: Paris is a moveable feast, a feast for your eyes. Returning to Europe has been nothing but pure joy except for my jet lag. We arrived early Sunday morning Paris time and I must admit: We were dead beat. My son and I slept on and off until 1PM the next day. However, after 1PM I said to myself: “Enough sleep. We need to go out and explore!” The fact, that most places are within walking distance, is such a plus! Hence my son, Kingston and I (my husband had to work) ventured out to Notre Dame. We passed the “Lovers Bridge”, and Kingston and I decided to leave a love locket with our initials behind as well. It was a very sweet moment.

I took these pictures myself today, and believe or not, but I really enjoyed being behind the lens for once. Capturing the beauty of Paris is almost impossible but I tried my hardest. Even though I’m European and I grew up with all this history around me I am still mesmerized every time I’m surrounded by historical architecture, such as Notre Dame. My son was quite smitten as well. He asked a lot of questions which I was very happy to answer.

This being said: Travel, travel! There’s nothing more beautiful but to smell foreign air.

As always, thanks much for visiting & have a wonderful day!

Much love from Paris!

I think that the little snippet of Paris that you have captured is still beautiful. I am so close to there, in the UK, and I have still never been. But I am very sure that one day I will go.

Gorgeous! I’m so glad you’re there! I miss it so! Jet lag is hard, as I usually arrive early morning, I skip trying to sleep and go right out to explore. Coffee is always a good idea! Hope you’re having a great time!

Paris is by far my fav. city ever! We went for our honeymoon a few years ago and while everyone said we’d hate Paris, it was our favorite! Beautiful pictures too!

Great pictures Vanessa! I do hate the jet lag when you get to Europe. No matter how hard you try it always seems like you lose a day of the trip to sleep. I’m glad you were able to finally get going. I hope you have a wonderful time.

Your pictures make me want to return to Paris so badly. I couldn’t agree with Ernest Hemmingway more. It’s so easy to get completely lost in the beauty of this city. I’m so glad you’re enjoying your time in Europe, do post more pictures so I can live vicariously through you lol!

Ahhhhh Paris…I’m glad you are enjoying your time behind the lens, you are taking some beautiful pics to be sure and it must be great to explore the city with your Lil Partner In Crime (Kingston)…I can imagine he has a lot of questions…on a side note thats what scares me about kids, they have so many questions..it frazzles me a bit coz I feel pressured to know more so I can give them more…but ok back to you: looking forward to seeing more of how your Parisian journey unfolds. Have a lovely weekend Bella. Bisous
