Summer is just around the corner, and depending on where you live, it’s closer for some of us than others. Here in Chicago, Spring/Summer seems to take forever to get here but that didn’t hinder me and my family to go to the beach this past weekend. Hence I packed my beach bag, and made sure that I got all of my Stylewatch Summer Essentials! First of, I cannot IMAGINE my spring and summer without smooth & silky legs! Razors are a must, and so are shaving gels! I’ve been escaping to the tropics (without booking a flight!) with the NEW Skintimate Island Berry Breeze Shave Gel. Shaving just got a whole lot more tropical, and my legs are silky smooth for the beach!

Also, with summer approaching I’ve learned how to protect my hair from the heat, sun, and humidity without turning it into an endless battle. I always make sure that I cover up, and spritz and seal my hair with my Anti-Aging Hair Treatment system from Developlus. It helps my helps my hair to remain strong, and youthful looking.

And last but not least — whether you’ll be lounging at the beach, the lake, or the pool this summer, you’re going to need some killer accessories to go with your beach wear. I’m wearing a minimal design watch from Armitron in blush pink (my favorite color this season!), and PWRcaliber Detroit bead bracelets. Each bracelet was created using beads around the world and one bead from shell casings collected from crime scenes by the Detroit Police Department. Proceeds from each sale are donated to the Caliber Foundation to help victims of illegal gun violence in America. The message behind each bracelet is an important one, and I can only encourage all of you to help fight gun violence.

    Happy Monday, beautiful! What a great post, you’ve shared some products and brands here that I’ve never tried or heard of before, but are excited to perhaps try! The Developus hair treatment sounds amazing! I was using one from Neutrogena that I believe has since been discontinued, I wasn’t able to find it anywhere last summer, so this is perfect for me to start looking into before I hit the beach this summer!     As usual, I loved this post, cause I love what you write and your kind heart! Beautiful on the outside and on the inside, always! I loved your beach bag and the contents – I also use razors and gels, hope you are blessed like me 🙂 cause I have so few hair on the legs that I shave just twice a month and even then, nearly nothing comes 🙂 I loved that you went to the beach and hope that summer arrives soon there!
