  • The Trench Coat

    The Trench Coat

It’s trench time, well it was in Germany, not so much in Chicago right now. Nonetheless, I’m a huge fan of the classic trench coat. I could’t get more excited when I spot the first rays of sunshine that announce spring because it means: Take off your winter and grab your trench! The trench coat is the perfect jacket for spring – a closet staple for warmer days ahead. What I love about the trench is that it’s completely irrelevant what I’m wearing underneath. The trench in itself always looks classy and sophisticated. On a different note: We took these pictures in…

    Kristals Cosmetics

It’s no secret that during traveling your skin becomes dehydrated and dull. Coming from Chicago, and flying to Europe was somewhat of a climate change for us. We literally left freezing temps behind us and arrived in Europe in full on spring mode which can have an effect on your skin. Hence it’s super important to me that I take extra care of my skin while traveling.  I make sure that I have a good skincare routine to combat dehydration while on the road. We traveled a lot while in Europe. We started in Paris, France and afterwards flew to Germany in which…

    German Adventures

While in Germany I had the opportunity to work with two amazing photographers: Gianluca Arangino and Marcel Huhn. We shot in Dortmund, known as being the independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We wanted to create an urban feel, and even though it rained a bit that day, the pictures came out amazing. I’ve never really worked with a photography crew before. Our shoot was very professional, from setting up lighting during our sessions to various backdrops. It truly was an amazing experience I’ll never forget. And even though my German adventures came to an end yesterday – I’m certain that I’ll be back soon. I miss Europe,…

    I heart Münster

    I heart Münster

Yesterday my family and I went to Münster, the city I studied in for a couple of years. Münster is a multi-faceted city. Surrounded by historical architecture, the city is known as the city of science and learning, and being the capital city of bicycles. There are seriously thousands of bicycle riders, most of them students trying to go to one class to another. I was one of them years ago. Walking through the city brought back fun memories from my university days. It was also very special to show my son my school, and teach him all the wonderful things I’ve learned…

    Casual Chic in Germany

    Casual Chic in Germany

Elegant but casual. Chic but relaxed. Feminine but with an edge. This is my definition of causal chic. Being casual is a lifestyle I very much adore. I’ve traveled my entire life and I’ve always been very causal about it. It’s part of me. People tend to ask me “where I’m from” and the answer is simple: I’m a world citizen. Casual Chic is a symbiosis of my casual attitude, and my preference for elegant and chic fashion. While traveling around Europe being casual chic is the way to go. As always, thanks so much for reading & have a…
