Cynthia Rowley is one of my favorite designers that I am lucky enough to have worn on my recent trip to NYC! As many of you know, Cynthia is from Chicago and I hold the Windy City near and dear to my heart. All of Cynthia Rowley’s designs are exquisite. With every piece, you can tell the hard work and dedication she puts into her creations, something I very much admire.

Over the weekend my family and I spent a night at the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront. We desperately needed a staycation. As a frequent reader of this blog you may know that we’re all about family time especially on the weekends. I must admit when the boudoir-inspired trend came back onto the scene last fall, I simply couldn’t get enough. And lucky for me, I’m still loving the slip dress this fall. I’ve layered my silk slip dress over a black turtleneck (very Parisian chic, wouldn’t you agree?!) and added a beret, as well as nude strappy heels to complete the look.
